Kukua Beach Club, Marion and Thomas Punta Cana wedding, Dominican Republic.

Love is when someone turns your world upside down, and it feels right for the first time!

Marion and Thomas had an extraordinary intimate private wedding ceremony and romantic dinner at Kukua Beach Club and Restaurant in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. They came all the way from Germany to Punta Cana to bring to reality and enjoy in their dream wedding. Marion and Thomas told us that they did not want a standard wedding, so they choose black wedding dress for the bride and white suit for the groom paired with custom made black wedding rings and the date of their anniversary will be each year on Valentines day!

Here is what Marion said about planning a wedding in Punta Cana:

“The inspiration for our wedding day has already taken place a year before, when Thomas propose on the beach, when we came home, we started planning for our destination wedding. I always had a dream, a wedding on the beach with only the two of us, me in a black wedding dress and Thomas in a white suit, and a bridal bouquet of white and deep black roses.” Thomas made this dream come through. We did not want an elegant decoration too pompous or exaggerated, said Marion. We remained true to our colors black and white also in the decoration. In Dominican Republic there are no real black roses. Only dark red, so I brought black roses from Germany. We had two German songs played that could not have better described our relationship and love for each other. The whole day was a dream from the first to the last moment with so many emotions which are unforgettable thanks to our photographer Milan and our wedding planner Mayte from Kukua Beach Club and their crew. They are both very dear to us and we have in them new wonderful friends for life.

Here is what Thomas told us about their relationship:

“Our relationship has been a fairy tale since the first day. The special thing is that we weren’t searching for the special person but found it. Relationship between us is magical and indescribable, based on trust, faithfulness, honesty, consideration, understanding, and deep, caring love for which there are no words. She is very special. We understand each other without words. What one thinks the other says it.

We are both positively crazy, and enjoy our time together as much as possible, with beautiful moments and experiences. Short trips, long-distance travel, meeting friends and family, strolling around the city, having a nice meal, cooking together, or just chilling out on the sofa, etc. And surprise each other with little things again and again.

This saying applies to both of us:

Sometimes you have to go through hell first to be able to dance on the clouds later.

If I describe our relationship with words then it will be these:

Give without asking,

Take without owning,

Sharing without asking,

Hold without being tied up…

Thomas then surprised Marion with a Cadillac on their wedding day and a heart necklace that was made to match their custom-made rings in Regensburg, a Bavarian medieval German city.
