Jasmine and Michael celebrated their big day at the stunning Royalton Punta Cana in a way that was completely their own: chic, relaxed, and seriously fun (pun intended). With clear skies, ocean breeze, and a ceremony right on the sand, the day had all the ingredients for magic… and then some. As a Royalton Punta Cana wedding photographer, I can honestly say this day was one for the books. Jasmine is a force of nature, outgoing, vibrant, and full of joy. Michael balances her energy perfectly with a calm, collected vibe and a great sense of humor. Together, they were a dream to photograph. Their connection was strong, sweet, and totally visible in every moment they shared.
We’ve worked at a lot of resorts across the Dominican Republic, and Royalton Punta Cana always delivers. With its wide beach, modern architecture, and elegant gazebo facing the ocean, it’s one of the top spots for couples planning a wedding at Royalton Punta Cana.
We took full advantage of every stunning corner of the resort, from the iconic white gazebo to the open beach.
Jasmine and Michael gave us everything too: romance, chemistry, and just the right amount of sass. Jasmine’s dress moved like poetry in the wind, and Michael looked sharp in a light beige suit. Their couple photos turned out epic. Their bridal party also showed up big. Those silver dresses and sandy bare feet, they looked like a Vogue spread on vacation.
The Ceremony by the Sea
The ceremony was held right on the sand, framed by a sleek, modern metal arch surrounded by soft blue and white florals. Friends and family gathered under the sun, cheering them on with the kind of energy that only happens when people genuinely adore the couple getting married.
And when we say this Royalton Punta Cana wedding had range, we mean it.
They started the cocktail hour with a short, hilarious Mob Boss-style video featuring their guests and family, and honestly, they crushed it. A wedding party with attitude and sunglasses, looking like they just stepped out of a Dominican version of The Godfather. It turned out fantastic.
The Reception: Wild in all the Best Ways
Let’s just say this was not your average reception. Jasmine and Michael’s people brought all the energy with them. The dance floor stayed packed all night, young, old, everyone in between. We captured their grandparents dancing like nobody was watching in a LOT of photos. Pure joy.
And just when we thought it couldn’t get better, the MC pulled out the “grab-the-random-object” game. Picture a room full of grown adults sprinting in formal wear, desperately hunting down random items while chairs disappeared one by one. People hit the floor (some literally), and we caught some of the funniest moments in our Punta Cana wedding photography all season.
Weddings like this are why we do what we do. Not just the beautiful dresses or the perfect locations (though we love those too), but the realness. The weird dance moves, the laughter, the hilarious games, the grandparents showing everyone how it’s done. That’s where the magic lives.
